Hello PAWsome people! TAZ here, and I’m excited to make my debut! It’s been a tough few weeks for me, as I have been recovering from Demodectic Mange – on my feet of all places!! (Not contagious). You try being a pup and having to be off your feet all day with so many fun dogs to play with!
Well foster mama says no problem, my feet are healed up and so I get to start the search to find my furever family!

My foster parents, and EVERYONE I’ve met tell me I am the sweetest GOOD BOY! I’m gentle & kind to everyone, kids and dogs. I’m still a pup, so sometimes I forget and use my mouth to play instead of a toy. Once you grab my toy, I’m super excited to play with it. I love my bones too; I have no problem curling up on my bed and chewing on my bone for some independent, quiet time. I also go into my crate for this too. I’ve had to spend a lot of time resting because of my feet, so I know the drill.
I love to snuggle, but remember it’s always best to limit this in the beginning with me so I can keep being independent and not develop separation anxiety.
Since I FINALLY can play with dogs, I’m super good at it! I’m very social and respectful of all types of personalities. If you like to play though, I will play for hours!

I’m a little nervous getting into cars still, and the odd loud noise, but I’m getting use to it all. We are just starting to learn how to enter a car by myself, as my feet were sore before, so foster mama helped me. Once I’m in though, I love going for car rides. Feeling the wind in my face, blowing my ears! Woohoo!! There are still lots of new things for me to try out there, so patience and understanding of my timidness is crucial, but I’m VERY trusting, so I feel confident that my special humans will make me feel better.

I’m looking for a great furever family that will continue to help me feel confident in this new world and provide me with lots of fun adventures and learning experiences. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! – TAZ
